With many birds being housed due to the bird flu restrictions, it is still important that we allow them to bathe and give them water deep enough to submerge their heads. Clean bathing water is essential for good health.
Keep water containers as far way from bedding areas as possible, to help keep them clean and dry.
It is looking possible that we might get colder weather next week if the 'Scandinavian High' moves north a bit. A small volume of water, such as in surface containers, is much more likely to freeze. Make absolutely certain birds can get out of trays if the rim gets icy.
