The timing of our 33rd Champion Waterfowl Exhibition was nip-and-tuck. We had a difficult decision to make; cancel the show, or accept that we could safely go ahead with exhibitors being diligent about their own biosecurity. We believed the best breeders are rightly proud of their birds, are careful about hygiene and that the show should go ahead. From one minute past midnight that evening, poultry gatherings (involving Anseriformes and Galliformes) were banned.
After two years of isolation, we had an event with a great atmosphere. Of course, there were excellent birds too. Do you have a great image from the event that belongs here? Send it to us from the Member Area.
